Résumé

Contexte : La lecture d’un texte permet le meilleur compromis entre l’aspect écologique de l’évaluation de la parole et de la voix, et l’observation de stimuli cibles dans un environnement contrôlé. Bien qu’il existe différents textes en Français, aucun d’entre eux ne semble vraiment répondre aux attentes et aux besoins des cliniciens et des chercheurs pour l’évaluation courante de la parole et de la voix. 

Objectif : Cet article présente un nouveau texte standardisé spécifiquement créé à cet effet, intitulé « Le voyage d’Alice ». Un protocole automatisé d’extraction de mesures acoustiques est également proposé.

Méthode : Le texte a été construit sur la base d’un ensemble exhaustif de critères, prenant en compte les données de la littérature, les besoins spécifiques identifiés en recherche scientifique et en pratique clinique francophone, ainsi que les données d’une étude de consensus internationale.

Résultats : Ce texte, destiné à l’évaluation de l’articulation des sons de la parole, des variations prosodiques et du comportement phonatoire, ainsi que de la fluence, s’est montré utilisable et facilement lisible en Belgique, en France comme au Canada. Le protocole automatisé d’extraction de mesures acoustiques permet une analyse rapide et simple de données reproductibles. Il s’agit d’un outil adapté à la fois pour la recherche scientifique et pour la pratique clinique quotidienne. Des mesures acoustiques ont été calculées sur base de ce nouveau texte auprès de locuteurs sains en France et font office de valeurs de références.
