About the Journal

Glossa is a fully and exclusively web-based journal (Diamond Open Access model), dedicated to Speech-Language Pathology and Logopedics.

Published by UNADREO (Union Nationale pour le Développement de la Recherche et de l’Évaluation en Orthophonie), a learned society in the field since 1982, Glossa was founded in 1986 under the presidency of Pierre FERRAND. The journal’s first editor-in-chief was Olivier HÉRAL.

Glossa has been available online since 2010 and is accessible for free without requiring any subscription.

The journal aims to be open to the diverse currents and evolving trends in speech-language pathology/logopedics, adopting a multidisciplinary perspective. With an international audience, Glossa publishes original articles by clinicians and researchers from both France and abroad. It is intended for speech-language pathologists as well as other healthcare professionals, and for researchers from various disciplines (life and environmental sciences, humanities and social sciences, physical and technical sciences).

Glossa does not publish thematic issues focused on a single pathology, but the editorial board occasionally collaborates with scientific events, publishing selected papers from such events.

All manuscripts are peer-reviewed through a double-blind peer review process, ensuring the scientific quality of the published articles.
